“The mental load is heavy.” Said plainly, unprompted, by a mother on the street when asked about motherhood — no explanation needed, every mum knows exactly what she meant.

This isn’t a joke mug. It’s a quiet, honest object for the moment you actually need it most — that first coffee, before the day starts asking things of you. Part of Firestarter Mum’s Street Findings collection: real conversations with mothers across the UK, made visible.

Every purchase helps fund the next conversation — the next mother, stopped on the street and asked, simply, “are you okay?”

This design comes from a real conversation with a mother, captured as part of the Firestarter Mum street visibility project. Every purchase helps fund the next conversation.
